Rideshare driving today December 11th 2025 a very poor income solution.

By UncategorizedNo Comments

As an over 6 year full time rideshare driver I can say that driving rideshare for any company is a very poor solution to an income problem. It is far better to get a job somewhere that you drive to and park your personal vehicle each day, work and then drive your vehicle home. Driving rideshare is a fast solution to a problem and is a way to go around the interview process completely which is very bad. Driving rideshare is very close to human slavery. It is very high risk of injury or death for way less than minimum wage earnings. Yes, some days are better than others for sure. Between the ratings for trips that you think are perfect, but the rider rates very low, and the constant maintenance fees pared with the ever decreasing earnings for drivers, it is just not even close to worth it. As a driver who knows, I would say that after about 750- 1000 rides, a driver figures this out and the wear and tear on their car is already done. I made another poor decision thinking that rideshare was a fair solution, it is not though, each and every rideshare driver is not an employee so they volunteer to receive far less than minimum wage.

If you have any suggestions please contact me at driver@ridesharedriver.blog and place the word driver at the beginning of the subject line so your message reaches me quickly. Rideshare driving today relies heavily on artificial intelligence, even in places most drivers do not notice. Every GPS map app uses AI in some form to predict traffic flow, select faster routes, and adjust instantly when conditions change. In today’s news the top headline is “New Federal AI Safety Rules Take Effect Nationwide,” which shows how deeply technology continues to shape our daily routines.

As a professional driver with more than six years of full time rideshare experience, I can say that learning how these tools think can improve your day on the road. AI now influences route timing, demand patterns, safety alerts, and even how efficiently a driver can move through busy cities. Understanding this technology helps drivers reduce wasted miles, save fuel, and stay a step ahead of traffic. Today is day 42 of the U.S. government shutdown November 11th 2025. There were votes last night to begin the ending of the shutdown in the U.S. but there seems to be a flying problem that is preventing this shutdown from ending until this coming Wednesday the 12th of November 2025. This is an Emergency, to prevent people from dying could the internet be used here? It is fast, can be secured, it was used during covid for telehealth visits. It would negate the need for quick rideshare rides to and from these airports, it will save lives period.

If you have suggestions for improving this approach, please contact me at driver@ridesharedriver.blog and put driver at the beginning of the subject line. To learn to drive rideshare for free in less than 20 minutes by downloading the free guide from www.ridesharedriver.blog

Every ride begins with preparation, and the smartest preparation today is powered by artificial intelligence. I start each shift by reviewing city activity, weather, and major events, then I let the apps forecast traffic patterns in real time. All major GPS map apps use AI in some form to predict the fastest path, reroute around incidents, and learn my preferences over time. I combine that with my own field notes about pickup zones, school release times, and stadium schedules to keep earnings steady while keeping stress low.

FAA reducing air traffic by 10% across 40 high volume markets during government shutdown.

Technology gives you the edge while the streets are unpredictable. Use voice commands to keep your eyes up, set routine checklists in your notes app, and tag common riders or building entrances with clear labels. A quick phone mount check, cable check, and safety check remove friction from the day. Keep your car spotless, keep your energy calm, and let the data guide you. There are 3 types of auto insurance for rideshare drivers
And I will list them here.

insurance from your platform provider, this is very expensive for a rideshare driver and is designed mostly for the passengers to be covered during an accident event.
Driver only insurance provided through whichever platform that you drive on, it is convenient, it it is horrible and unlikely to actually help you during an accident. Do not believe the advertising.
Your own policy, this is where you need to put your resources into. make certain this policy is commercial and will cover everyone in your rideshare vehicle in the event of an accident.

Every shift begins with preparation, patience, and a clear plan. As a pro rideshare driver, I rely on timing, data, and calm decision making to deliver safe and smooth rides. Artificial intelligence is part of my daily routine. All GPS map apps use AI in some form, from real time routing to traffic prediction, and that guidance saves fuel, time, and stress for everyone in the car. I stay focused on safety, clear navigation, and steady pace so every rider arrives relaxed and on time.

Technology turns uncertainty into useful signals. Live traffic layers, weather radar, and venue calendars help me choose smart staging and avoid wasted miles. Clear voice directions keep my eyes on the road. A simple device layout brings navigation, rideshare, and safety tools into quick reach. After each trip I glance at basic analytics for acceleration, braking, and idle time, then adjust my approach. Small lessons from real data add up to consistent service that riders remember.

I also watch major headlines because big stories can change traffic patterns and rider mood. Today the headline drawing the most attention is, Hegseth orders the military to detail dozens of attorneys to the Justice Department, AP learns. Headlines like this can influence activity near government centers and downtown offices, so I plan routes with extra time in mind and keep communication clear at pickup.

Rideshare Driving Today

By Uncategorized

Rideshare driving is changing fast as technology continues to shape how we move through the world. Artificial intelligence has become an invisible partner on the road. All gps map apps use AI in some form to calculate smarter routes, manage time, and keep drivers updated with real time information. The more drivers understand and use these tools, the smoother their workdays can become.

I noticed the headline US government shutdown threatens the spending power of Congress and it reminded me how national events can have local effects. Big news can shift commuting schedules, traffic patterns, and rider demand. Knowing what is happening beyond the road can help drivers prepare for what is coming their way.

AI powered alerts and routing can reduce wasted time and guide drivers through unfamiliar areas with less stress. Technology can track patterns that most humans would overlook, allowing rides to flow better and making the work feel more predictable. It can even offer quiet prompts that help keep everything moving forward without distraction.

Rideshare Driving Today

By Uncategorized

Rideshare driving is no longer just about picking up riders and dropping them off. Today, it’s about using the smartest tools available to maximize time, earnings, and safety. As a full-time driver, I’ve learned that the biggest edge any of us can have is using technology, especially artificial intelligence, to drive smarter, not harder.

AI is behind nearly every tool we use, even the ones we take for granted. All GPS maps utilize AI to calculate the fastest routes, adapt to traffic conditions in real time, and reroute instantly when roads close or accidents occur. That’s not magic — that’s machine learning at work, saving us time and fuel.

With apps and AI tools tracking demand surges, rider habits, and traffic flows, staying ahead is easier than ever. Tools like Gridwise, Uber’s own heat maps, and driver-specific AI apps are changing how we plan our day.

Another benefit is AI-driven expense tracking and automatic mileage logging. These tools are lifesavers come tax season. I spend more time earning and less time buried in receipts.

Even real-time translation apps have helped with riders who don’t speak English. And if you’re using ChatGPT, you can plan an entire rideshare strategy based on your city, your hours, and even your car type.

One headline sums it up best right now: Government shutdown reaches Day 24 as negotiations stall. While the nation faces uncertainty, we can use this time to tighten our own systems and stay focused on what we can control — our driving.

Rideshare Driving This Week: Calm, Clear, and Professional

By Uncategorized

This week on the road, I focused on three pillars: calm reactions, clear communication, and a consistently professional presence. When a pickup pin was slightly off, I stayed patient, messaged the rider with concise directions, and pulled to a safe, well lit spot. No drama, no horn, no hassle. A composed driver sets the tone; riders mirror the energy you bring into the car.

I sharpened my clarity by confirming names, destinations, and preferred routes in one friendly sentence at the start of each trip. That single habit reduced mid ride confusion and helped me glide through the busiest hours. Professionalism showed up in the little things: a clean cabin, steady pace, smooth braking, and a thank you at drop off. It also meant controlling what I can control, my attitude, when traffic or app quirks pop up.

Headline in the news this morning: Chinese leader Xi Jinping outlines 5 year plan at closed door Communist Party meeting.

Why mention the headline? Because riders often bring up what is happening in the world. I acknowledge I have seen the news, then steer the conversation toward neutral ground like travel plans, food, or local events. It keeps the cabin relaxed and the ratings high.
