By June 10, 2023Food for thought

I made zero dollars driving for Uber today and I completed no trips.
I was going out to St. Pete Beach and I heard some noise and I checked
under Ruby and saw that one of my brand new tires was flat, the front right tire.
I just replaced all 4 tires on 05/30/2023 so I am going to chat with Walmart about
this. They will probably say something like, I should have gotten road hazard on them
and there is nothing they can do. That road hazard insurance is only for 12,000 miles
not the life of the tire. It just adds cost basically. I was able to put air in it
and make it home to Ellenton. I am pretty tired, I am going to smoke my medicine
and go str8 to sleep. I will deal with Walmart tomorrow. I will probably end up paying
for a new tire but the rim may be bent. This is the first time a Goodyear tire has ever
failed on me. I guess if you go through as many tires as I do, it is inevitable that
one of them will be defective, eventually. So I got Ruby home and jacked her up again
and put the maypop tire on there for the trip to Wally World tomorrow. I learned today that
I probably should not drive to Pinellas when I drive. Ruby has too many miles on her and
even though Pinellas County is way more familiar to me, I will just stick around the
house I suppose.
