I sent out some letters to Toyota headquarters USA in Plano Texas and to the Japan headquarters. I asked them both if they would sponsor me with a new Prius
because Ruby is getting tired. Scotty Kilmer on YouTube talks about Toyota and Lexus going 750,000 no problem. This is so typical of Americans. I got no response from the “USA headquarters” at all. I did get a response from Toyota Japan those responses are listed here. The correspondence via mail takes forever and is expensive too, but the person that chex and responds to the
mail is always different from the person that chex and responds via email. Even though the mail system costs 1.50 per letter and it takes a month responses are
more likely in the mail I have found, even if they send a canned response at least that is something. The mail system takes a month to send and I am just a single person
Toyota is a huge company and it takes them over a week to make a decision and to respond. Toyota seems to think I am like the rest of the people who send them mail. I am so not.
I am just a single person in need right now anyway. I don’t think I will be in need say in a month or so. At any rate, I plan to also post this at www.priuschat.com and medium.com
to see if that helps them to realize that I am different. I really like the fact that they read and write back to me in English, because I do not read or write in Japanese at all.
That just goes to show you how advanced and intelligent they are. They build an awesome vehicle too. The Toyota Prius lasts forever and is very good. The new generation 5 Prius has double the horsepower and still gets over 50 MPG too. They moved the instrument cluster back in front of the driver it used to be in the center of the dash and my Uber passengers really like that.
Also, because of the design of the Gen 5 Prius, a lot of the headroom was removed and it is now too tight for a person that is 6 feet to sit in the rear. they are much better off sitting in the front. Also, there are complaints about the rear cargo being too small and the leg room in the back seat is much less than it used to be. I do not know because I do not have one yet anyway. In letter 1 I forgot to move the switch over to allow anyone with the link to view that file. That happens sometimes, I can be boneheaded a lot of the time. What is important to me anyway, is that I learn from those mistakes and remember next time. I usually do remember but sometimes I forget, it happens.

Here is the folder in my Google Drive that has both letters
sent to me from Toyota Japan.
