I am still unable to drive for Uber since the 03/25/2023 accident. I sent an email last night
to the collision center that is repairing Ruby/my car advising that a good pickup time for me
would be around 1pm tomorrow. I got a reply that my car probably won’t be ready until 05/06/2023.
I contacted my adjuster with Progressive and I was told that the last day Progressive is paying for the rental
is 05/05/2023. I sent an email again to the collision center and I was advised that my car will probably be ready
by then, so fingers crossed lol. I am so ready to get back on the road with Uber. This is the longest I have gone
not driving for Uber by far! This is my jam of the month. I have been listening to that over and over again throughout April. That song is called “Dive” by Luke Combs FT. Ed Sheeran. They collaborated and created this song which I think is awesome.
I really like Luke and Ed both. I had no idea they were friends. Anyway, they both have a version of this song. This is
the Luke Combs version.

I am still not able to drive from the accident that happened on 03/25/2023.
Just today, I do not know why my progressive adjuster suggested we do a “virtual
estimate” Why we didn’t do this before I have no idea and I do not care. I just
need to get this don’t so I can get my car repaired so I can get back to driving again.
This is going to put me in bankruptcy. I took the pictures and submitted them to progressive
and she stated she was trying to get this done today but it may go until tomorrow. I reminded her that
we are now 11 days out. Geico would have me back on the road already. I do not know what progressive
is doing. Its a good thing I can still drive Ruby. Because I would really be screwed if not.

I am still at home unable to drive since the accident on 03-25-2023.
tomorrow the damage estimator from Progressive is coming to assess the damage.
to my car. I have a place picked out to repair the damage to Ruby. The place
that I went to in the past is in Pinellas County they always do precision work
and they are very fast too, they told me they have a couple technicians out on vacation
and they are booked out until the end of April 2023. I called a place here in Manatee County
and they advised they do not work with progressive at all. So I will contact another place tomorrow
and see if they can do the work.

A rider that was in my car during the accident, the guy that yelled “FUCK” lmao.
If I was alone, I probably would have said that too.
He Just sent me the $45.00 that Uber refunded to him for that trip!
That was very cool of him!! For that trip, I was paid 26.10 in total.
So in addition to all the expenses that an Uber driver has to pay, plus the wear
and tear on their vehicle, and the risk that the driver takes on. I did pretty well on that trip, I got almost 60%

I just reviewed the recording lol.

I was in a car accident today. I will post the footage here soon from my dashcam. I was stopped at a stop sign in Tampa with a couple
in the back and a lady came off the street in front of me and struck my car head-on. The purple car struck me. The person that yelled “FUCK”
at impact was one of the Uber passengers. I captured this video with the Vantrue dashcam on the affiliates page.

Today the Uber app says I completed 3 trips and I earned a little over $80.00. Tomorrow March 24th 2023 Ruby/my car will roll over 500K miles. Right now she has 490,973 miles on her. I will record the mileage as it rolls over 500,000 on my Akaso 7000 Sport camera. It’s like a GoPro knock off. I really don’t care
because I am not doing anything crazy with it.
and it was only $70.00 bux and comes with 2 batteries! It doesn’t come with an SD card
and will only take up to a 32 GB card. I will capture the video tomorrow and post it on the maintenance page. Also I will wake up at 9AM going forward. So I get home a little sooner.
tonight I got home at 8:57 PM ET then I get on the peloton for 20 mins, take a quick shower, eat and I am ready for bed. I need like an hour to write a few pages of my ebook. So if I wake up earlier everything else will happen earlier too.

Today is Monday, and this is spring break month. Also, it is the beginning of a new month. What I have been doing with my mother’s help
for about the past year or so anyway. I have a Square card reader and account that was the idea of the rideshare guy a long time ago.
that card reader connects to my phone via Bluetooth and gives me the ability to accept credit card payments. Of course, Square takes their
processing fee before they deposit the remainder in my bank account. My square account was pretty easy to set up and I do not need another bill each month
so I went with them, they also handle any disputes that may arise so that is cool too. I initially set up that account then.
I also have a square terminal that does everything. It is pretty cool, it takes chip cards like the small reader that I have and
also has the ability to process cards via the strip or it allows me to key in the card if I need to. Also, they have some type of payment link
to process payments over the web. The Square Terminal has a screen on it that prompts the user of the card to sign and also it has a printer in it and
it holds receipt paper so it has the ability to print a transaction receipt on the spot. I connect it to my wifi but I think there is a way for it to
store multiple transactions and upload them when you can get to a connection, it is good for processing transactions in a remote location (like in my car)
and it is rechargeable too. So at the beginning of each month, I process via the terminal a charge that allows me to pay for all the bills for the month,
all my credit card minimum payments (6 of them), and her minimum payments for her credit cards (3 of them), the rent, my “Child Support” payment for my kid that lives in
a foreign country that never contacts me, with a heroin-addicted mother. This allows me to concentrate on creating content and selling that content. Which has not
really been going that well but I keep creating any way.

The head unit in Ruby/my car is still down. I didn’t drive for Uber again today. I was thinking this is the longest forced vacation
I have had since I started driving for Uber. Today I took some drone footage of a chipotle near where I live, the bank next door and
Lewis tree trux that are parked nearby. All three places were so close together, I was able to film them all with a single battery.
When the battery gets down to 5 minutes, the remote starts making this loud audible noise and then like 30 seconds later, it starts
returning to home (which I always cancel). That feature is kind of cool when you first start flying drones, but it gets annoying real quick.
So I always try to land or start heading back to land when there is 6 or more minutes left on the battery to avoid that alarm.
There are a lot of other things to pay attention to while flying, so I wasn’t paying attention to the battery time. I was filming the Lewis
tree trux and that alarm started going off. I was able to land it, without the return to home feature starting.

Today, I was headed to Pinellas County to drive for the day, and I noticed this on the dashboard. I am just glad it didn’t happen with a passenger in the car, that has happened to me before, and it sux. I have already replaced this with a brand new part (on Page 2 of the maintenance log) These codes mean the ABS system is not functioning which makes the brakes really hard to press and not as effective at stopping the vehicle. I can still drive the vehicle, for example, there is now a Chipotle in Ellenton which I love, and I drove Ruby there with no problem, Monday when I need to go grocery shopping at Walmart I will drive there also. I just can’t put the usual 200 miles I put on Ruby each day. I gotta say, almost 500,000 miles anything that goes wrong with Ruby now, isn’t okay yet, but I understand why things fail. I have already ordered the part (using my mother’s CC of course lol) and contacted my mechanic. eBay (Amazon didn’t have the part this time) says the part won’t be here until 02-23-2023 – 02-25-2023 which is 1 week from today and then my mechanic doesn’t work on the weekends so I am looking at Monday 02/27/2023 for a repair date. So until then, I will be at this computer trying to earn money in a different way nothing new, I have needed to actually do that all along, and now, I have time to do it.

I just got home from my auto mechanics shop and that part completely resolved the issue. I was thinking that because
Ruby has so many miles on her, perhaps it’s something else. The diagnostic skills they have which I have never had to use with this car
are really good. The uber I took to pick up Ruby was a woman. She had a 5.0 rating and like 1660 trips. Her name was Shannon.
I told her where to go to make it easier to drop me off so instead of turning into the spot next door, she instead elected to go
the light a block ahead and turn there? Not a u-turn like I would have done, she turned and then she turned into some parking lot and
fished around to where I needed to be dropped off. I have dont that before, but I am usually not as lucky as she was. Anyway, I am excited
that I can go driving tomorrow. Isn’t that crazy? I am excited to go deal with passengers. I suppose I am just excited that the problem Ruby
had was resolved by changing a part. I forgot to blog Sunday night so I am blogging right now to make up for that lol.
