Tuesday February 14th 2023 (Valentines Day)

By Food for thought

Today, I decided that I am not going to drive tomorrow. I am waiting for some car parts
(sway bar links) that was supposed to arrive today from Amazon but Amazon emailed me
and advised they will not arrive until tomorrow. The ones that are in there now were replaced
already but are making noise and I am really sure they are the cause of that noise. A rider Sunday
gave me a 1-star rating I am sure because of that noise, I also borrowed from Peter and have
all of the bills paid for the month of February so not earning from driving tomorrow won’t hurt me as bad as it usually would. I will spend most of the day after I repair Ruby adding pages and writing my ridesharing ebook. There is plenty to
do, that is for sure.

Update: The parts came on 02/15/2023 from Amazon and I installed them on Ruby with success. That completely resolved the noise
issue that I am pretty sure got me a 1 star
rating last Saturday 02/11/2023. This is what I learned: I installed these in 2020 and I followed the same video, I watched a lot of
other videos but this is the main one I used to swap the part. I also used the actual parts from 1AAuto. This time, I used sway bar links from “suspension dudes” the 1AAuto ones you absolutely have to put on with a wrench and a #6 Allen key to “counter hold” the post with threads on it. I used “suspension dudes”
this time and I will now every time going forward because I can do the entire job with my electric impact wrench. There is no need to “counter hold” anything, which was awesome because I couldn’t find my number 6 Allen key.
if I needed that, I would of had to wait on one to be delivered from Amazon. Ruby is our only vehicle and it was down because I removed the old ones with my impact wrench and needle nose pliers. When I changed them in 2020, I used the flat tire Jack in the back of Ruby, I didn’t have a floor Jack yet. When just a single tire is lifted, it puts pressure on the sway bar. I was able to struggle and get the links on, but that struggle knocked my front end alignment way off and my front tires started wearing right away.

  1. The Uber app says I completed 5 trips today. I earned a little over $117.00. It was a $400.00 weekend! I don’t remember a $400.00 weekend happening and at all in 2022, but maybe. It’s Sunday night my favorite night of the week and I am starving. There are 2 New York strips in the fridge waiting for me to broil them. I prefer rib-eye’s but there was no grass fed ribeye’s. I probably should have looked at the U.S. DUH section. Well off to ride the Peloton. Oh, I got some mini-Pre-rolls from Surterra today they were 40 percent off. So $25.20 for 10 of them all I need is one!

I drove my ass off today! The Uber app says I completed 7 trips and I earned a little over $180.00. I also got 1 starred today. So my 4.97 rating that I just got back that is shown on the front page is now back down to a 4.96! I am pretty certain it was because of noise caused by torn sway bar links that I am going to repair Monday anyway. I have already replaced them once but they’re torn again so I will replace them again also today for the first time ever the slow speed on the windshield wipers doesn’t work unless I put them on high speed first. So I will source a new motor tonight and hopefully that will resolve the issue. I am now off to ride the Peloton.

The Uber app says I completed 3 trips today. I earned a little more than $105 dollars. I won’t eat any vitamins until Sunday night after I eat my steaks. I am going to ride the Peloton 2x each day still though.

The Uber app says I completed 4 trips today. I earned a little over $90.00. February is a fasting month for me. I ate at Saki last week I love Sushi so I eat there once a month. Tonight will be the last solid meal that I eat for 3 days. I drink R.O. Water only for 3 days straight. I do it because it is VERY good for the human body. Because I pay “child support” and cannot afford health insurance, I have to do other things that are good for me.

Update: I also take several vitamins and ride the Peloton Bike Plus 2 X a day and drink a tablespoon of high grade Extra Virgin Olive Oil each day. It seems to be working so I just keep doing it.

I just got home from my auto mechanics shop and that part completely resolved the issue. I was thinking that because
Ruby has so many miles on her, perhaps it’s something else. The diagnostic skills they have which I have never had to use with this car
are really good. The uber I took to pick up Ruby was a woman. She had a 5.0 rating and like 1660 trips. Her name was Shannon.
I told her where to go to make it easier to drop me off so instead of turning into the spot next door, she instead elected to go
the light a block ahead and turn there? Not a u-turn like I would have done, she turned and then she turned into some parking lot and
fished around to where I needed to be dropped off. I have dont that before, but I am usually not as lucky as she was. Anyway, I am excited
that I can go driving tomorrow. Isn’t that crazy? I am excited to go deal with passengers. I suppose I am just excited that the problem Ruby
had was resolved by changing a part. I forgot to blog Sunday night so I am blogging right now to make up for that lol.

February 5th 2023 Morning Blog Post

By Food for thought

I forgot to post here last night because Ruby has a light on her dashboard. With as many miles on her, as she has, I am truly not surprised. I usually do a blog post right after I walk in the door after driving in Pinellas County, Florida all day. Since I am not able to drive until next Wednesday, I forgot to post here yesterday
so I am making up for that with this post. I cannot drive, and earn so I am forced to earn in other ways. So I setup
woo commerce and payments on this site. (Which is a good thing I suppose) so I suppose now I need to create a product
to sell also, so I am writing a document about the only thing I really know, well, driving rideshare. Then I will need to learn about
driving traffic here, which I will do with Facebook ads or google ads (probably both) the plan is to be making sales before I go
back to driving. That is the plan anyway. Arthur Jones the founder of Nautilus always used to say “Nothing ever goes as planned” I keep that in mind. I say “Things don’t always go as planned” but planning/preparing for anything/everything possible is always way better, I think anyway.

I had the oil changed in Ruby today in Bradenton, FL. Then I drove to Saki Endless Sushi which is in Clearwater, FL. When I went out and started Ruby I saw this on the dashboard, I was like huh? that is the warning that the hybrid battery is bad, I am familiar with that warning, I have replaced that battery twice.  I pulled into another parking spot and connected the Bluetooth ODB2 interface and scanned it, and found this code. It was not the Hybrid battery in Ruby, but this part is not working it’s called an inverter coolant pump? So I drove her home, (she ran perfectly, like always) and parked her, my mechanic doesn’t have an opening until Tuesday. So I am not working, or earning with Ruby until Next Wednesday. I took a couple drone videos yesterday of a fire department in Pinellas County, FL, and also a cell phone antennae in Pinellas also.  So I will edit them, and send them out the cell tower had an email address posted on it so I will try that first.
