I came home to Ellenton today at 6:30PM. I swapped out the blinker bulb In Ruby. Using a Jack and Jack stands they are a P.I.T.A. I have wanted a lift since 2020 but I got no place to put one. I saw this one that would work for my application, but I would also need a large. Compressor because it used compressed air to function. I gotta look again. Now I just can’t afford it, but it won’t be long (hopefully) until I can afford it. I am so tired after working on my car and then riding the Peloton. I took all my vitamins as soon as I got home and drank a couple tablespoons of evoo. So after I eat these ribeyes (I do this every Sunday) I am going straight to bed and I am not even touching that computer tonight.

Today the Uber app says that I completed 3 trips and I made a little over $45 bux. The simple fact of the matter is that it is cheaper all the way around. If I drive close to home the gas and fuel it is will save me is significant. The amount of time that I spend not at this computer cost me dearly also. If I am going to keep on driving Ruby, I need to drive less. I will look into the exact mileage it takes me to get there and back home, plus tolls, and exactly how much it cost me to drive there all the time. Today for the first time ever, the front left U.S. driver’s side blinker light went out. I noticed right away because I already looked up how to change it, and have ordered 2 new led lights for them. So Tuesday (I am driving this Monday) I will jack up the car and replace the bad one first probably and then the other. They were like 17 bux delivered the next day from Amazon.com of course, I love that site.

Today it was an Oil Change Friday, I took a single trip to Tampa and I earned like 28 bux on that trip and one of the trips from yesterday I was tipped heavy on (I consider anything over $10.00 to be a heavy tip on Uber) a lot of other people are like huh? $10.00 that is like nothing! Which is true, but at the moment, it is paying part of the bills. I got that around 1pm so I just felt like going home, so I did. So all together today I earned just over $40.00 which isn’t much, but I can work with it. I figure being in that car driving is taking away from time that I should be spending on creating content so I can sell that content, or upload it, or whatever I can do to make some real money, because Uber driving is horrible money. Even if you drive for Uber or Lyft on top of a job or retirement money. It can be decent only on occasion though.

Today I took 2 rides with Uber and earned a little over $90.00. Everything went off without a hitch! Like always Ruby ran perfectly. I am not exactly sure how Maher does what they do, but whatever they do, the sure do a really good job, every time.

Today I woke up and there was a text message that said “hey mister Sean bring the Loaner back your car has been done for 2 days” I said I was just notified yesterday (Tuesday) that my car was done and tested. I replied a couple hours later when I first  noticed that email, I have been waiting for that email. I hoped it was going to come the day before but it did not, my calculations were wrong, because Maher tested their work, commercial companies rarely do that. I do that all the time. I test my own work every time. I have about a 70 percent success rate on the first fix, Anyway, I texted back, I just was notified Tuesday my car was ready and I replied exactly when I would be there to pick it up. I said I would be there to do the switch Tuesday May 24th 2023 around 1PM ET. I still have the sent email. I advised there HAS never ever been a problem with me bringing back a loaner. I always bring it back with more gas than I was supposed to. I barely use it  too. So I dropped off the loaner and picked up Ruby. I drove it home and it drove perfect, I got home and it started to rain real hard (next week starts Hurricane season) I just call it the rainy Season. So it rains really hard for like 40 minutes every day pretty much. So I took Ruby out near the house and the Wipers worked perfectly and there was nothing leaking, I think that is so awesome! Summer said something about the windshield seal was changed  by them or something? I dunno what was done. All I know and care about is that it works perfectly that is usually how things go when you take your time and do the job right. I am able to drive for Uber tomorrow which is pretty cool! So I have everything ready to go. This Friday is an Oil Change Friday so I gotta earn that and some gas money too 40 bux in gas will fill that car up completely for 2 days! I just can’t imagine people driving for Uber that get even 30 miles to the gallon, that is horrible gas mileage gas is expensive. It’s pretty much the only thing you CAN control! So it should be as efficient as possible!

Today was like Sundays are supposed to be laid back. I went to St. Petersburg today I took the loaner. I got my SunPass in the center console sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. So I dunno. I wanted to eat at the Helm on St. Pete beach today but it was closed. I picked it because I saw it in the Tampabay.com day starter. It was closed today so I went to the other place I saw in the day starter. It is called “Good Intentions” it’s a vegetarian joint but you wouldn’t ever know if I didn’t read about it in the paper. It is in Downtown St. Petersburg and it was really good. I would definitely go there again. I had the Southern Sriracha crab cakes x 22 and the Truffle Mac n Cheese. Which was also good. I sat at the Bar and the bartender was really cool.

I just ordered and am watching above the law from back in the day. It’s Saturday and the Maher office closes on the weekends. So no driving for Uber this weekend. I am so glad the world stops turning when bad things happen to me. Because paying bills with little to no income sure is hard.

Today Summer sent me an email that Ruby/my car was ready for pick up. So I headed that way and stopped by the Wawa on 22nd Avenue North and put 10 bux in the 2022 Blazer she got loaned to me the other day, and took it back to them and it started pouring rain, so I waited like 5 minutes after I parked at Maher for the rain to stop, it didn’t, it started raining even harder so I just went into the office, we traded fobs and I was out it was very cool it always is with them any way I got in Ruby and started her up. Then on the center console I saw water that had dripped there. I looked up, I saw a drip from the Rain inside the car. I snapped a pick of it with my phone and then shut the car off, walked in and showed summer, she said well can you take the loaner again? I was like cool so we traded fobs again and I went to Saki Sushi on the corner oh US 19 and Gulf To Bay and ate 6 freshly made Sushi rolls and headed back to Manatee County.

I got an email today from summer at Maher Collision that the wipers are fixed and the tested good. So I will go there Tomorrow and get Ruby and she will be totally fixed. That is cool I will be able to drive this Saturday. Which is very cool because Saturday’s are pretty decent driving days historically. I was not able to sleep until this morning at 7AM I woke up at 10:30AM and I could not go back to sleep! I have the perfect sleeping conditions in my room, and still I can’t sleep? It is dark from the large Amazon boxes I stapled over the windows except for the vent that evaporates the water as it pulls it out of my room air while cooling it, I like it about 68 degrees. That is pretty low in Florida When I have my P.C. turned off, it is stable in here at 68 degrees Fahrenheit. I have a queen size bed all to myself, I have an old oscillating fan diagonally across the room from the Air Conditioner so I keep it as dark as possible, I light with artificial light only. That portable A.C. has a remote control that I keep on my desk because sometimes it actually gets too cold in my room and I gotta turn it off. I remember, at any time, when I was under 40 years old, I could almost always sleep no problem.  Now that I am over 40 sleep is very hard for me. I can definitely see how ice baths always work very well. When it comes to temps under like 60 degrees Fahrenheit, as apposed to Celsius in Canada and Mexico (There are a lot of other places on earth besides the U.S.) I am extremely sensitive to the cold, so a 10 or 15 second cold shower for me worx like an Ice Bath does for Tim Ferris. I have read all of his stuff which is umm kind of a lot. He is a pretty  good teacher. Tim has a very bad problem going to sleep so the solutions he writes about tend to work very well for me. The problem I have is cold showers to go to sleep tend to be a P.I.T.A. I didn’t think of that last night. You would think that 2 rides per day would make me tire but they do not.
